     Hello! I'm Mary Guinane. Since 2002, I’ve been using the power of words to share amazing stories and raise millions of dollars for nonprofit organizations and small businesses. It’s brought me great joy to work with clients from across the country and around the world. I’m grateful for the privilege to be part of their efforts to make the world a better place. 

     In 2017, a fortuitous phone call led to my moving into the agency world, joining RKD Group, as a Senior Writer and then an Associate Creative Director. In July 2024, I joined the team at TrueSense Marketing. Working with so many talented professionals has made my writing world an even happier place. I mean, we spend every day working on behalf of organizations who are helping to make the world a better place. How can that not make going to work every day awesome?

     Throughout my career I’ve also enjoyed teaching others how to make words work for them. Whether it’s coaching new copywriters, consulting with dreamers as they start their own businesses, or as an instructor sharing how to employ the power of storytelling, playing with words is my passion. 

     Perhaps, I should’ve realized words were “my thing” when I was collecting quotes in a scrapbook as a kid. But my path took me a few other places before I settled into being a writer. In hindsight, I’m glad it did. Because every good story includes a few twists and turns.
